Samantha Grace is uprooted from her life in New York when her parents decide to take jobs in Shanghai, China. When she meets Junjie Lian, the scion of a Chinese industrialist, she thinks her biggest problem will be keeping his ego in check. But, when the two of them are suddenly transported back in time and find themselves in the middle of a war, they will have to work together to find a way back to their own time.
