On the surface, Samantha Grace is your average sixteen year old. Except for the fact that she is, or will become, the person who discovers how to actually move through time - shifting through layers of quantum energy. An expansive saga that travels backward and forward through time and across the globe, Shift follows Samantha as she navigates adolescence, an overbearing mother, boys, girls, love, heartbreak, a war for the control of time itself that spans multiple timelines, and a homicidal zealot who believes the only way to save time is to rid it of Samantha Grace.

* Shift began back in 2019 during the pandemic when the day jobs left us with a bit more spare time than usual. One script turned into two, then four, then six. The day job picked back up, Shift was a dream for another day. But, in 2024 we decided it was time to stop imagining what Shift could be and set out to find the perfect artist to bring Samantha Grace and the world of Shift to life. In 2025, the first issue was inked and ready to be colored. The first issue of Shift was ready for its debut at the beginning of 2026 and we immediately started on the second issue. Much to our dismay, however, we recently learned that Jonathan Hickman released a prequel for his 3 Worlds/3 Moons saga, also titled Shift. So, we are back to the drawing board looking for the title that best encapsulates the world of Samantha Grace, Junjie Lien, and their travails backward and forwards through time, space, and adolescence.
