DLUX COMICS
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
General
Simple. DLux is about compelling stories that are out of the ordinary. It is not about superheroes or aliens. Rather, DLux is more interested in stories that take place on Earth (or reasonably around Earth) and with real protagonists who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances. DLux stories may have some elements of science, science fiction, the supernatural, the fantastical, even mystical - but what drives DLux stories is rooted in the daily humanity of our planet.
Currently, only digital copies of DLux comic books are available via Amazon/Kindle/Comixology. There is a link on each Issue webpage that will redirect you to that merchant. We are working hard to establish physical distribution to your local comic book store or through our website and will let you know as soon as that happens.
Creator Owned means that each series published by DLux is owned by its creators, not by DLux. DLux publishes and distributes those works under agreements with the creators, and holds licenses for certain rights, but the underlying intellectual property rights remain with the creators.

DLux merch is available through our Threadless storefront. Just click on the Merch button in the top banner or in the footer. All of the apparel is print on demand, so it takes a little longer to arrive, but it is worth it in our opinion.
While we are a small outfit, DLux is always interested in new voices. If you have a comic book project that you think fits with the DLux ethos, you can reach out to us via the Contact page and will send you information on how to submit.
Send an email inquiring to info@dluxcomics.com to request creator appearances, but don't hold your breath. Most of us still have full time day jobs and getting to conventions is hit or miss, so unless your store, library, school, or event is where one of us lives, it's not likely to happen unless fate brings us to your city at a mutually convenient date.
While we do not have any translations of DLux titles at the moment, we are currently working to have Shift translated into illustrator Alessandro Micelli's native tongue of Italian. There are also rumors of a French translation being considered. Stay tuned.
If you’re interested in developing DLux intellectual property, you can reach out to us on our Contact page and provide the information requested there. If you're a civilian, we will reach out to you directly. If you're a lawyer or law firm reaching out on behalf of a client, our legal counsel will reach out to you.
For all media/press inquiries, email us at info@dluxcomics.com. Please provide your press credentials and the nature of your inquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
